She has entertained for the US Marine Corp, NC Museum of Life and Science, Chick-Fil- A, Mercedes Benz, Glaxo Smith Kline, Carolina Cinemas and many more.
Melody's favorite charities are The Triangle Down Syndrome Network, The Triangle Run/ Walk for Autism, SafeChild, Serena’s Song, and Shop with a Cop to name a few. She feels that she loves people with her brush and that she is proof that you can do what you love and live your dreams!
Melody and her husband Richard have been married for twenty-eight years and have 3 beautiful daughters, LondonJasmine, Paris Lilly, and Vienna Rose. She feels very blessed to have lived her dreams of visiting Hawaii, London and Pariswith her husband and daughters and is “saving up” to take Vienna to Vienna, Austria.
Melody Scruggs also started the NC Face and Body Arts Guild, in March of 2010 and has become surrounded by talented and caring friends that share her love of the art of face painting.She says her good life has been fruition of God’s promise to her and quotes Isaiah 51:3 "For the Lord will comfort Zion: He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden and, her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving and the voice of Melody."
